WHO WE ARE

DETARE, a member of The Gambia Chamber of Commerce & Industries was established in 2003. The objective of the organisation is to develop a relationship with producers and manufacturers with the aim of marketing their products and also open up a link between them and sellers of locally produced items from this part of the world.

An extensive and comprehensive study of the market led to the setting up of this outfit that is now involved in import and export of goods ranging from cars, jeeps, home appliances, building materials, computers & its accessories, Office stationery supplies and general merchandize. We have also entered into the business of importation and supply of mineral fiber ceilings and louver fittings.

And following our successful plunge into the market in 2003 our contact/ distribution and marketing network has soared. Apart from doing the above mentioned, we have also been involved in linking up sellers with buyers both locally and internationally.

DETARE is fast becoming selling/ buying organisation that companies can trust and deal with. With business contacts cutting across Africa, Europe, Asia and Middle East, it is our hope that we shall equally break into the American and Australian markets sooner than later.

In keeping with its policy of offering the discerning customer superior quality at a reasonable price, Detare has been regularly expanding its contact and product range and constantly keeping abreast with the latest cutting-edge technology in the field of consumer electronics and home appliances.

In order to further consolidate its client base in the African Continent, DETARE is seeking to appoint exclusive agents and distributors in new and emerging markets of Africa to help in expanding its network with its partners from other parts of the world.
